ROA NEW YORK was founded by Dominican-born Jose Luis Cabrera Roa. Cabrera is fueled by purpose-driven fashion and sustainability; his work focuses
on the reduction of waste and spotlighting social issues in the Dominican Republic and the caribbean. His design philosophy is committed to circularity- ROA is produced by underdeveloped communities in the Dominican Republic and his studio in New York, with a profit- sharing model in place geared towards giving back by creating job opportunities, and enabling families to have a stable source of income.
